Some say death is the end. For for these teenagers, it's only the beginning. When you die, your soul descends into the Fallen World a.k.a Hell / the Underworld. While we live up on the Risen World, a.k.a. Earth. There people with gifts. Gifts that break the border between life and death. Gifts that allow them to speak with those who have moved on from their bodies, gifts that raise the dead and even gifts that make them immune to the touch of death. Lazarus Orpheus was just an ordinary jock at his school. Hated by his team. An outcast from the world, mostly because all his life he has been able to heal people. Make lifeless things move. Give things breath. Mortem Lampade was an outcast from his own family. The weirdo. The freak. The odd one out. The black sheep. Mostly because he is locked up in his room talking to his deceased mother. And his dead brother. Diana Sanctus was the most beautiful girl in the orphanage. The fairest. The comeliest. The youngest. But with that came the burden of envy from the other kids, even her own friends. She is twisted by her hopeless romance and loneliness. Hecate Inferos, well, Catie, as she is known amongst her neighbours. Keeps to herself. Locked up in her home, looking after a paralysed mother and being tied up with the wrong kind of people, mostly her drug-infatuated boyfriend. She will soon find out she is more special than she ever thought. These teens will soon find out that they are more powerful than they ever thought. Their destinies intertwine. When they enter a sacred institution for their kind. When they hear tears from the grave. Death isn't the end. But it isn't the beginning either.

Do paranormal things, witches and magic exist? There are gifts that are waiting to be discovered. The mythical power is just waiting beyond the deepest darkest tunnel of the unknown. Only the brave learns to test the waters amidst the labyrinth of its knotted mystery. PLEASE, NO PLAGIARISM. (~Created July 6, 2018:Finished August 5, 2018~) Being engrossed in studying his current case detained him from leaving at once until he forgot the time. He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true. He must get into his car before his sight totally leaves him. He must warn his family. " I must save Athena!"
