Eleanor Calder comes from a long line of wealth. On her nineteenth birthday her parents decide that their daughter should marry. The twenty-one year old son of the family's rival company is chosen to be her suitor as a treaty between them. Once meeting the young man, Eleanor thinks he is quite charming but soon becomes disgusted by his horrible manners and rude behavior that he begins to show. She disregards her family's wishes to be with him until she is convinced to give him another chance. As time goes by she feels herself falling for him but will her feelings towards him last from the mistakes he makes? Only Eleanor can decide that.
