It's my choice to become mute. The things that happened to me has me so horrified that I've decided to be a selective mute. I was taken as a child and I had to endure pain no one should ever have to. When they found me they wanted me to talk about it. Talk about the pain, and the unmentionable. I couldn't. I didn't want relive it. Not even for a day. I haven't uttered a word since it happened.
