He scrunched his nose in disagreement but Emilia already took charge of dragging him to the balcony. He heard people counting down until they got to greet everyone a "Happy New Year".
But he didn't hear the usual squeaky voice of his childhood friend.
Instead, he felt goosebumps as he felt soft lips touch his cheek and a soft whisper made its way onto his ear, "Happy New Year, Brenny. I like you very much, would you like me back?"
