"Come here, pretty one. You do not have to be afraid of me." I huddled into a corner, making myself as small as humanly possible. Not everything is as rosy as it seems. Capture. Live. Repeat. When life awakens blocked memories, it's time to face your fears. Elva, a bold witty girl with an affinity for baking, needs a time-out, but what if her current time-out is just the beginning of a new game? In a world full of laughter, love and friends - she starts to question her memory and the persons she used to trust. Unbeknown that the evil past will soon catch up to her... How far will her past interfere with her current life? _______________ I wrote this in 2014, by now I would have done so much different -but still, I wanted to share my beginnings with you! It is written out of Elva's point of view, additionally two other character's train of thoughts are displayed to construct an all-around-insight. In general, it is a trip through one's owns memories, broken only by Elva's experiences and told in a refreshing mix of humor and reality. (and many cliches)

*She wasn't looking for love - just snacks and a nap. But then he smiled...* ~True love? Unexpected. Emotional growth? Unwanted. Drama? Inevitable.~ Veronica D'Costa isn't exactly the main character type just - a regular teen: emotionally avoidant, chronically sarcastic, and fully committed to winging her way through life, with her loyal (and mildly chaotic) friend group. One night. One betrayal. That changed everything. Now Veronica's pretending, deflecting, and power-napping her way through emotions. But when a certain boy - golden-eyed, infuriatingly kind, and way too observant - starts asking the right questions, she'll have to do the one thing she's avoided all year: feel. Because surviving senior year means more than just acing math or mastering beer pong - it means facing what broke her, before she lets it define her. She's growing up. She's falling in love. And she might just be the main character after all. Messy, meaningful, and mildly chaotic - this is the year everything changes. Even her. P.S.- This isn't a fairy tale. It's a slightly sarcastic coming-of-age crisis.
