He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. He's toxic, he's manipulative, he's mean, but somehow she's attracted to him. Of course neither wants to admit it though. Will their relationship actually work or will they both end up with their heads blown off? ------- Mature content⚠️ - mentions and some SA - cursing - abuse - depression and suicidal thoughts This is kinda dark romance. I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
