Project S

Project S— S for special, S for superior, S for survivor. In a far off and distant future, technology has advanced so far to the point where the world itself has become digitized and even a thing such as human memory could be enhanced by purchasing more data storage. Overseer by the Almighty System UNI, the seemingly perfect world is recorded to be at its most peaceful age in history.
Himawari is an ordinary high school student that came from an ordinary family, leading an ordinary life. So, why is it that when she encounters the suspicious Natsume, she begins to recall memories that she doesn't remember ever experiencing? Things take a turn for the worse when Himawari is thrown into the rumored Data War Game without any means of escape. When the ugly truth begins to surface, Himawari finds herself caught in between a perfect illusion and a shocking reality.

Project S is a story that takes place in a digitized world succumbed to technology where Protagonist Himawari seeks to find the truth. Along with Fantasy and Science-Fiction, the story also contains a light amount of mystery. References to Japanese and Chinese mythology can also be found later on in the story.
