I sighed. It was my turn to empty the bin. I picked the heavy black bag from the kitchen bin and headed outside. As I opened the backdoor to head down the steps, I heard a scratching noise. I looked over the banister to see a stray cat picking through the rubbish by the bin down below. I turned to see a fat man with a wicked smile on his face. "Remember me?" he gestured to his face Fear seized me at once. Here I was on a backstreet with this stranger with an evil lit in his eyes and grin that spoke volumes of hurting me. I just stared as I recalled all the stories I read to find a scenario such as the one I was encountering. Nothing came to mind. I stared him in eyes, the dead marbles bored right back into mine. I slowly took a step back and he suddenly lunged at me like a predator daring his prey to run. Amy, Minnie, Victoria, Soule and Fray are five roommates sharing an apartment to cut down costs as they try to make it in the big city. When they are attacked by a stranger who manages to murder Soule, Minnie and Fray, they are determined to catch the stranger- but for different reasons.
