Harry Potter was born into a rough time in the Wizarding Community. Lord Voldemort was in power and far too few could match his strength. Harry had been prophesied to be the one with the power to bring down the Dark Lord, ultimately causing Harry to lose both of his parents at the mere age of one. Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, long time friends of Harry's father, James, finally found Harry with the Dursley's. They believed that Harry belonged with them, Sirius being his Godfather and rightful guardian.
