For as long as he can remember, Bucky Barnes has always been different. From the age of 6 he became obsessed with wearing dresses, makeup, and his favorite accessory of all- flower crowns. In school he always had trouble making friends, being called names and teased for how he dressed. But his life turns upside down. New town, house, people, and school. Bucky isn't ready to start over with the teasing and name calling, but maybe a new friend will make his days' worth while.

Steve Rogers has been in this town all his life, and he knows what it's like being different. He's not well known around school, and only has three friends. Life isn't easy for him, and his days become darker every day. But when he meets Bucky, his days become a little bit brighter.
