When a strange boy starts appearing around your house and school, it's usually a good sign to start drafting a restraining order, but he is different. Toby comes from a long lineage of a unique heritage, and his people are in danger of dying out by the end of the winter season. He set out from his home to find someone who could help him save the future of his history. And he's certain that Amani is the girl for the job.

But will Amani be able to trust and believe his seemingly crazy story? How could she help them in the first place? What exactly are Toby's strange origins?
