The great thing about true friends and family is they're always there for you, even when you act like an idiot and try to push them away.

Burdened (Short Story)
I was 16 years old when I found out that it was possible. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend at that time. He and I took our high school classes online together. I met him when we were 14, just being dumb and clueless. I didn't know that I'll be his girlfriend at the age of 15 or that I was going to live on my own when I'm 16. I was just in my curious 14 year old body trying to get over my new monthly bleeding schedule. He and I wanted to become actors as a career, so we took college classes as well. At age 16, I worked 2 jobs at the mall and he was fixing cars at his father's garage shop. We were happy and in love. During our 16th year of age, we decided to do the big IT. It was amazing since we both took each others' virginity and luckily knew how to use condoms. It was impossible to stop. We did it non-stop, but that ended quickly when I stepped out of the bathroom with tears in my eyes. I was pregnant with Matthew Connor's baby. And I wasn't ready. ''Let me help you, ma'am,'' a man who was probably the flight attendant said. Damn. Ryerson Reeds even had handsome flight attendants. The man stooped a bit, leaning close to her and taking the seatbelt from her hands. He was holding eye contact and Lyla felt herself grow amused as she stared back at him. He was going to start buckling her up before someone cleared their throat loudly. They both looked up to meet Reeds' blue-green eyes. ''I think I can help my wife, thank you,'' he said. Lyla's eyebrows shot up. The dude barely talked to her and he was already getting possessive? How does that even add up? I had everything. Well I could have everything. Until my parents passed away and I got sent to live with my father's longest pal, 68 miles away from where I lived. A tragedy.
