There is a theory, not a very popular theory, that each world has a hundred different versions. A thousand different 'what if' scenarios. A million different dimensions from a single 'mother' dimension. What if there was a dimension, similar to ours, where each child had a not-so-imaginary friend to help them through life? A guardian born from a single wish, belief, or desire that is so strong, it controls a child's future. And if I said there is actually a world like that, and a girl who is from that world. Banished from her home dimension, unfairly, by the one she loved, Carolyn Rose has witnessed the horrors of our realm, and vowed to help as much as she can. Her loyal Soul Guardians, Luna and Midnight, whom were also banished with Carolyn, aid their Soul Holder in whatever way they can. But when old friends come back, asking for their help, will they go back willingly to the very people who hurt them the most? Or will their bitterness anf resentment get the best of them?

Certainly they could trust that those in power ultimately had the best interests of the people in mind, right? ~~~ Luna slouched low in her seat, staring at droplets of water that ran diagonally down the window of the bus. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. They finally got to the safe haven. Fortunately, Newt survived and Teresa survived. Thomas starts acting stranger and more distant every day. Will they have peace after the memory restore or will they face new challenges, new enemy in order to bring peace to all people?
