Kari is a simple girl, born of Asgard and Midgard. Her mother supposedly died in childbirth, so she spent her life on Asgard. But when her father commits a serious crime when she is only three years of age, she is cast down to Midgard for his faults. It's ten years later when Loki appears on Midgard for reasons unknown to most. He ends up taking Kari back to Asgard and keeps her close. All Loki knows is the Other has promised that Loki shall be punished for his failure in New York, and he knows who the Other will take it out on. With a new threat rising, Kari must learn to adapt to being an Asgardian that can fight and control magic. But will she be able to adapt in time to save herself?

Loki was banished from Asgard and was banished to live on earth as a midgardian. Although his powers were taking away, Odin couldn't leave his son with nothing. He gave Loki endless amounts of money, a mansion, his expensive cars, and all the time in the world, but he would never be allowed into Asgard or any other realms again. This was his punishment for the unforgivable crimes he had committed against Asgard and against the family Odinson. Although Loki grew very comfortable in his new lifestyle on Midgard, he soon became bored. His playboy life style wasn't fulfilling anymore. While there was a party going on at his mansion, Loki needed to get away from it all. He needed to escape the hoards of woman after him, somehow no one would leave the party, so he did. He snuck out of his own party and began to drive his favorite car, a dark grey jaguar. He drove for many miles, passing countless states and even drove into the changing seasons. He soon found himself lost on a dirt road covered in snow. His car broke down and night was upon him. With nowhere to go and no one to help him Loki sat in his car shivering, from the bitter cold. Just as he was giving up he saw a faint light shining from within the forest. He decided to investigate. Maybe it was a nearby house or someone could help him out of the bitter cold. As he walked deeper into the woods, he came around a bend and a clearing in the middle of the forest. There was a large Iridescent bubble. Within it was unaffected by the snow. He walked up to it but there was a force field protecting this closed off world. Soon he saw a woman with large white wings flittering and floating about with in the bubble.
