Lucius Malfoy has been fatally ill for months. He's so ill, in fact, he's forbidden anyone to help take care of him. Draco's tried everything he can to reach out to his father- but with no luck.
Meanwhile, Hogwarts sweethearts Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley finally reach a bump in their relationship-one that's too challenging for either of them to overcome and resolve.
Through certain events, a few things become clear: Sometimes, the people who you expect to tear you to pieces are the ones who make you stronger. And sometimes the people you love are the ones who hurt you the most.
