Anais Nin once said, "Anxiety is love's greatest killer. It makes others feel as you might when a drowning man holds you. You want to save him, but you know he will strangle you with his panic." My name is Summer, the only girl in town with light orange hair and eyes as green as the ocean I surf every single day. Anxiety is love's greatest killer. It makes you indecisive, it makes you second think whether or not you want to spend the rest of your life with him/her. In a way, drowning is also love's greatest killer. In some circumstances, of course, the love never dies. But it's a major setback. I fell in love, which was my biggest mistake. But, was I so deeply infatuated that I let myself sink to many feet under? Warning: MATURE LANGUAGE

When Summer makes a bet with his best friend to remain romance free for the summer it seems easy to him. He has rarely dated or had much interest in dating and it's the last thing on his mind right now as he recovers from a bad depressive episode brought on by the recent loss of his mom. When a beautiful boy with the prettiest brown eyes comes to stay with him for the summer he isn't worried. But then he can't get him out of his head and as he gets to know Caleb more it becomes harder and harder to keep himself from falling for him. Summer might end up losing this bet after all.
