Aria Dixon never had a relationship with her father, which was something she didn't mind. Then again who could properly have one with a drunken dead beat like Merle. After watching her mother die and losing her sister due to a cannibal attack she stumbles across an intriguing camp. With sturdy walls, and a strong defense team it looks like the ideal place to be.
What will happen when she finds Daryl, her uncle?
What if everything isn't as great as it seems?

"Long-term Hiatus, working on rewrite!" --------------------------------------------------------------- Ford Dixon was the youngest of the three Dixon brothers, just barely twelve years old when the world went to shit. A stubborn, quiet, almost shy boy looking for his brothers in an apocalypse world with the dead roaming around eating the living. Kill or be killed. He learned to cope with it. Holding out in a hospital after leaving his house he finds comatose Rick Grimes and decides to stay and make sure Rick is taken care of. Shortly after Rick awakes, they run into Morgan and Duane Jones. Over the course of the 11 years of a normal life, Ford had he had been reported missing nearly 13 times and ran away from home, the longest span of time being 3 weeks, nearly a month. He's been out hunting with both his brothers. Normally hiding away in the woods until his brothers found him. Now having just turned twelve the young boy gets separated from his brothers, sees his father get killed, and desperate to find his brothers again. ----------------------------- CW!!! (Based on the show "The Walking Dead") Serina Rose Williams lives a very mundane and happy life. She lives with her motherly sister Lori, overprotective brother in law Rick, and adorable nephew Carl. If it were up to her, she would want to live her whole life like this, happy and close with her family. However, it would appear that life seemed to have other plans for her. for she receives news that the only brother she has in her life, Rick was shot in the line of duty , and had entered a comatose state. Heartbroken, and grief stricken, Serina is not at all prepared when the world decides to end, only three months later. With no choice, Serina has to leave the only home she's ever known, and flee the city along with her sister, nephew, and her brother in law's best friend. They set up camp and try their best to live a peaceful life whilst the world as they know it, succumb to the walking dead. Serina must accept the rules of survival in this new world, while trying to protect her family, and withholding the morals she had in her owl world. She must soon come to terms with the fact that in this new world, it's kill or be killed, something the gentle-hearted girl must overcome, before the new world ends up breaking her.
