Life has been pretty dull for most students ever since Arnold Shortman left to see his parents in San Lorenzo in the summer of fourth grade, going into fifth. Now, Arnold is a teenager and has to move back due to his Grandparents health conditions. The whole gang is excited that he's returned, and so is Helga. Especially Helga. She was about to do something horrid, but he came back, and because of this event, Helga forgot to. Her silver lining, her light at the end of the tunnel, her missing piece of her heart has returned.
