Lailani Camilla Kennedy is a 19 year old girl who has the responsibilities of a teen mom. Only difference is the fact that she's not a mom. Instead she's the guardian of her 5 year old sister Londyn Canary Kennedy.
Their father abandoned them when Londyn was 2 and Indigo was 16. Their mother passed away from a drug overdose 2 years later. Lailani believes that their mother turned to the life of drugs because of their father leaving but that's not the case.
Indigo has been through more than accounted for and no one knows. Her little sister, Londyn is all she has left.
Her sister is clueless to the horrible world around her. Lailani strives everyday to make everything better for not only herself but for her sister too. She won't stop until she gets what she's striving for and she's making sure of that.
Lailani meets a guy who she finds herself fond of, will she let the life she lives determine what she should do or will she let her heart do its job?
