There exists a magical world dominated by two humanoid species: the colourful spectrumosa and the animalistic deishani, in which hybrids between these two are feared for their greater powers and magical abilities and are accordingly persecuted at birth.

Follow the journey of some of the few young hybrids who managed to escape the inevitable and must now find somewhere safe to call home and live in peace.

But is the fact that these children just might one day pose a threat really enough justification for their deaths? And is it truly possible for a hybrid to live peacefully?

They force any who resist their rule into enslavement or, if that doesn't prove to be enough to crush their spirit, they kill them and hang their wings as trophies - and a warning to all the others who disobey the reign. To this day, the humans still hold all of the power over Vaerali and, in turn, all of the dragon hybrids. But there are storm clouds on the horizon. And from the rubble of a decimated civilization, a rebellion is growing.
