More Harm Than Good

Carlie Hallow is a girl.

A girl with a baby, no baby daddy, and no family apart from her abusive Uncle she can't leave. With only her daughter and her best friend Tori pulling her out of the darkness, it's a wonder she survives.

But that's not all.

At school, she undergoes constant harassment from almost everyone, but especially the schools three renowned bad-boys she despises. They make life hard, harder than it already is. What's more is that they're completely oblivious to the horrors she already faces.

Carlie goes through a vicious cycle of physical abuse at home, and psychological abuse at school. Knowing she can't leave her daughter alone, and she can't escape the clutches of her Uncle and the mean words at school, she tries her best just to keep her head down. And she succeeds.

Sort of.

Getting into detention and spilling her best kept secret to her three tormentors was not the plan. But when they suddenly feel guilty and offer help, will she take it? If her past experience is anything to go by, every man in her life has let her down. So how could these three make it better?

Or will they just do more harm than good?
