In this story, the world is called Eurona. There are five lands, or kingdoms, in Eurona:
Lochlanach: The Waterlands (primary setting)
Ascomanni: The Coldlands
Toresta: The Ridgelands
Zorfina: The Drylands
Kalor: The Hotlands
There are people who can perform magic with their hands, but it is outlawed. These magical people are called the Lashed, because when they do magic it causes a purple line to show under their nail, like a bruised lash mark.
I'm also working on the blurb. I will share this draft, but I'm certain the official blurb will change a bit before it's finalized. This one will give you a general idea, though. I seriously cannot wait for you to meet Aerity and Paxton.

A strange beast stirs fear in the kingdom of Lochlanach, terrorizing towns with its brutality and hunger. In an act of desperation, a proclamation is sent to all of Eurona-kill the creature and win the ultimate prize: the daughter of King Lochson's hand in marriage.
Princess Aerity understands her duty to the kingdom though it pains her to imagine marrying a stranger. It would be foolish to set her sights on any particular man in the great hunt, but when a brooding local hunter, Paxton Seabolt, catches her attention, there's no denying the unspoken lure between them...or his mysterious resentment.
Paxton is not keen on marriage. Nor does he care much for spoiled royals and their arcane laws. He's determined to keep his focus on the task at hand-ridding the kingdom of the beast and protecting his family-yet Princess Aerity continues to challenge his notions with her unpredictability and charm. But as past secrets collide with present desires, dire choices threaten everything Paxton holds dear.

The land of Aleron can be a treacherous place to live. None knows this better than the leïfae, a race of half-breed elves. Taëlenna finds herself in the home of Prince Antalos after tragedy strikes. As she adjusts to her new surroundings, she begins to discover secrets hidden behind the false truths she has somehow found herself in. What are these secrets? What kind of threat do they present? Serena and Kay are taken away from their village after a vicious attack. The other leïfaen prisoners are being used for something, but for what? Nothing good could possibly come from what their captors have in mind for them. Renefaire is rescued and taken care of by the navine; a tribe of nomadic humans who are practiced in the arts of medicine. With no home to return to, she begins to learn the ways of the navine's medicinal practices so she can help others the same way the navine have helped her. But still, she longs to return to her home, to find if any more of her people survived the attack on their home. Their stories took different turns, yet their paths have been destined to cross once again in the future for something much bigger than they ever could have imagined. ~*~*~*~ This is a really old draft. Flow was an ordinary Water Spark she had an ordinary family and life but all that changed when she got a invite to Phandome Academy, there she learns skills and makes friends, sooner a rumor starts going around about a quest, Flow goes on that quest dragging her friends along. Flow sooner realizes this is not a game and that she has to defeat a dragon in an icy dome with whispering songs and if she fails darkness will fall and almost every one will turn to dust.Complete
