Raven lives in The Gen, a part of her country where the government spares those most useful from an unknown death. Some of the Gen people are grateful to be spared, some are mad with grief and anger over those left behind, but all are settling in and getting used to being alive without having to hide. However, The Gen grows smaller and smaller, the walls closing in.
Raven discovers she has a very unique skill that could save her. The price? Leaving her family to an unknown death. While she tries to decide, teenage women like her start to disappear, but not to outside the wall; those who witness the disappearances say they were saved. Every mother hopes his daughter will be next, but the fate of those girls is also unknown, and with good reason. When in the midst of this turmoil Raven encounters Drake. Suddenly her unstable world has an anchor, a physical and emotional release. But if this vigilante "saves" her, what will happen to Drake?

Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem.
