'Here, now come on lets party!' He gave me the money and Ray gave me a shot of some dark red liquid. I took it and we started dancing to the music. Shot, after shot, after shot of this dark red liquid. my head was spinning as we drank and smoked. The time passed by. It seemed like an hour. My phone buzzed and I answered it, drunk and high.
'Hey! Erin, what's up little bud?' His voice was shaky and quiet. He ended the call quickly. 'Jes, I have to get back home!'
'What's wrong? You don't have to go home in a couple of hours?'
'I just have to go now!' Jes seemed confused but agreed. We started driving home. I kept thinking about what my brother had said.
'Someone's in the house, with a gun. I'm under my bed. He's here.'
