All Abigail Riley wants is love and a better life. Whether it's in 2015 or 1941, only she can decide.
When eighteen-year-old Abigail, just free of the foster care system, finds a mysterious old box in the room she rents in New Hampshire, she's given the opportunity to travel to the past. When her curiosity supersedes her skepticism, she follows the instructions in the box and is brought to the year 1941, two months before the attack on Pearl Harbor.
It is here that she discovers a sense of belonging, a key to the past, and love for the first time.
She is introduced to Charlie Bridgeport who is incredibly charming and sees beauty in Abigail that she doesn't see in herself. They are quick to fall in love and Abigail is convinced that Charlie is too good to be true. He is. Charlie is a newly enlisted Sailor who is reporting for duty soon on the USS Oklahoma in Pearl Harbor. Powerless to warn Charlie of his impending doom, Abigail may be left to mourn the only person to ever love her.
When she unexpectedly returns to 2015, Abigail finds herself torn between her feelings for Charlie and her new best friend, Chase Chastain. Two very different guys living in two very different time periods. Now Abigail must decide if her future lies in the past or the present.
