At first, it might seem like a cliché. As the story unfolds, though, secrets surface, and it becomes something deeper than expected. She learned to blend in, moving through life unnoticed. That changed when he noticed her. She kept her guard up. He kept things hidden. Neither of them wanted to get close or feel too much. But their playful teasing soon led to late-night texts. The quiet moments between them began to feel comfortable. They never planned to fall for each other. But somehow, it happened anyway. And now, nothing feels whole without the other.
