As a child people would look up to the heroes such as Superman and Batman not batting an eye that you yourself could become that hero.
That was me. Nate Mathews, the superhero wannabe. Over the years my best friend and I would dream about being our very own batman and Robin not thinking that it could end up exactly the opposite with one being the batman and the other being the Joker. We were the best of friends, me being his batman and him being my Robin. We grew up knowing each other inside out, inside jokes that if anyone heard they would think we were crazy and secrets that could possibly destroy each other but no one could possibly know how things would turn out between us after one faithful night. Let's just say we messed up.
