Bit by bit I was torn a part, every time I think it will get better something worse always happens. I was finished I couldn't take the pain anymore. For a seventeen year old everything was too much to bear, and I had it all planned out, but sometimes even the worst things can turn out to make it all better. A blessing in disguise? Faith? Whatever it may be, my pieces were now being connected.

Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. Beautifully Broken
"I'm tired." I whisper, my voice breaking. "I can't do this anymore. It's too much." He pulls me closer and holds me as he always does. "You're a strong girl. People look up to you, Mina. You'll get through this, okay? You're not alone. You're a beautiful girl and you have us." I shake my head. "If ever I am, I'm just another pretty girl that's broken inside." He holds me tighter and I feel his chin resting on my head as I break down in his arms. "Well, I guess you're beautifully broken then." I sob, my body heaving at the pain, wondering how he always sees beauty in an ugly broken girl. *** Just a little warning. I'm lost. Broken. And nobody knows. I help people, and when you help people, you don't get help. I couldn't look at myself think how a mess I was. It was too late for me to be fixed. Nobody could help me. I was too deep in it for being saved. I had too many scars and thought. I already had a broken mind. When I tried to kill myself and failed at it, they brought me to a mental facility. There I meet other teens with different stories and each with their problems. The longer I'm here, the more stories I get the knowledge. We come together to tell our stories so that we can move on from what hurt us in the past and what waits for us in the future.
