Then You Changed Everything

The door seemed so far away and yet, it got closer and closer in an almost taunting way. Tears already stung the corners of his eyes because he was simply so tired of walking into the hellhole they called home. It was sorta funny. Bitterly funny. All the fun and happy memories Garroth once enjoyed had completely disappeared or have become nothing more than lost hope.

Everyday it was the same thing.

Rush out of the house with his brothers as early as they could, only to come back home and attempt to escape the normal beatings Zane and he got.

It used to only be him, Zane was never involved though once he got older there had been no stopping him from trying to defend Garroth. After the first try of his brother helping him, he had hoped that it would have been enough to keep Zane from trying again. Of course, he had been wrong.
