The USS Enterprise is the first Starfleet vessel to successfully navigate the Necro Cloud Nebula and travel farther into uncharted space than any other Federation ship has ever gone before. Which is why a cryptic distress signal from an unknown planet asking for Federation assistance puts the Enterprise on full alert.
Captain James T Kirk and his crew must risk everything on a hostile planet to save a species from a warlord who will stop at nothing to eradicate their kind. In a world with mountains of black glass and rivers flowing with a mysterious red liquid, they find themselves stranded with no communications with the outside and no help coming from above.
