The Runners: a small organization of the worldwide fight against evil. Bones: the demonic creatures, thirsty for blood and murder, that make the Runner's job all the more difficult. Kira Lee: the sixteen year old girl thrown into the center of the clash. All she wanted was a night out, but no. No, Kira just had to be witness to one of the most horrifying things she had ever seen in her life, even if no one else with her saw what she saw: the murder of a man in an alleyway of Seattle, but not by the classic vision of a killer. The killer she saw was a pale figure, white eyed and sharp toothed, a figure who's spine protruded in a curved arc under his skin, a figures who's arms were too long for its body with mangled claws sprouting from the fingers. After that, everything changed. More and more of these figures appeared, and all began paying more and more attention to her. As the things finally attack, she finds herself saved by the strangest of people, and is swept into the world she thought only existed in books and movies. A battle of terror awaits, a war of demons and evil against which no one can win. What can save myths and legends, if the very thing they pray to no longer exists?
