Pain, torture and suffering. Key, a youngster who is unable to speak, due to events from his past which he struggles to remember, grows accustomed to his new lifestyle in Loru Town. After learning that the young men in the town have to be trained as soldiers, Key takes part in the training and works his way up the Kingdom's Militia. As he becomes content with his newer lifestyle, he is plagued by haunting memories of his past and learns secrets which he regrets finding out.
