The two worlds of science fiction and fantasy come together in a world where they are still divided with nothing to bring them together besides what they call: The Magtech.

A ruler who can wield both the power of technology and magic, they are the only one keeping these two different powers from civil war in an otherwise peaceful kingdom.
 
But when that peace ends with the assassination of the Magtech Oberon.

Adira Miredell faces this problem head on as her father, a simple city guard, is accused of the murder of his majesty. She must weave through the confusing labyrinth of politics to solve the murder before war breaks out among the people and redeem her fathers reputation.
