"Darkness is coming that no cat can control..."
For years, two groups of cats have lived relatively peacefully in the back alleys of town. However, this begins to change when tensions start to rise between the two alleys, pushing some cats over the edge to do what they believe is right.
In the midst of this troubling time, a kit is born. Surrounded by whispers of a dark prophecy, Twilight must learn to cope with the cats who view him as a troubling darkness, doomed to wreck havoc on the alleys, and those who see him as an innocent kit. Filled with fear and troubling dreams, Twilight is forced to flee the alleys that he calls home. Soon Twilight discovers a rough life outside the alleys, hidden secrets, and all while working out whether he is truly the darkness that many cats believe him to be.

She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment.
