It's been 199 years since the last dragon was banished from Archaelien, along with most other magical creatures. The people are planning a huge party on the Winter Solstice to celebrate the day. Then, one fateful November 4th, a dragon flies over Archaelien. The party is called off, people stay in their homes, and the ruthless and cold King Sylvester send hundreds of thousands of guards to find and kill this beast. Yet, the first wave of soldiers never returns, and Elyska decides to do something about it. Not her ideal winter break, but a pretty great one at that.All Rights Reserved

This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon. In time all this came to be known as "The Tragic Legend." As to when the Dragonheart would return, no one knew.
