The Chronicles of Narnia but with more swearing, more katanas, and less allegory. It's nerdy, anime inspired fun for the whole family.
Leone owns Pulp Magic (Comics, Books, Games, & More). Angry customers are her biggest concern-until a man from another world literally drops into her shop. And oni have followed him. Leone defends herself with a magical staff, which marks her with powerful runes. Her supernatural tattoo sleeves make her desperately thirsty, yet practically allergic to water-and oh, they foretell the fate of the realms of demons, gods, and men.
With her four friends and inter-dimensional guide, Leone travels to the realm of the gods, searching for magical cosmetic surgery. She doesn't want to carry the fate of the world literally on her arms. But the truth she finds-of a war raging between worlds-changes her, challenges her.
What's a nerd to do with the fate of all worlds at stake? Ah yes, kick some demon ass.

A few dark sabbatical years between university studies mark the past of Timothy, who has a few more memories, of a few more things, than he knows what to do with. He is now trying to restart a study path already once forsaken, in a human life that isn't quite his. A young man in a fragile human body, with a vampire's soul. With the start of a new academic year, he finds old acquaintances and new friends. Clover is a witch, with her magical powers equaling those of an oven glove. And she suspects one of their friends to be possessed by a demon. Lavender however is blissfully oblivious of her friend's suspicions and thinks she is losing her mind with vivid nightmares and huge gaps in her memory. Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.) Future Magi (Magi Fanfiction)
*I do not own Magi or any of it's characters* Several hundred years after the Kou Empire civil war, Al-Thamen is completely defeated. The battle was long and hard, leaving most of the word in ruins. The normal humans, who later call themselves MWS (Magic-weilders Subjugation Organization) decide that magicians and metal vessel users are far too strong, too dangerous. The MWS begin locking up any race that had power. Magicians, dungeon capturers' djinn, household users, magi, and even the Fanalis and Imuchakk. Once they were finished, they united the world, making it all one country, and genetically mutated humans to be sure no magicians were born... Despite all this, one magi survived. Neah, a twenty four year old still in her senior year of high school, with an arrogant personality. She's also the only fallen member of society, another thing MWS tried to fix, but couldn't with her. Neah's vowed to save her fellow magicians, seeing it as her duty being the last free magi...but it doesn't exactly go as planned... (40K words)Complete
