Trinity Winton, Caucasian, has lived in Illinois her whole life. That is until her parents, the head of Winton Inc., have to leave on a business trip for a while. Leaving her to move in with her Aunt and Uncle from New York city. Which means she will have to leave all her friends and her (now ex) boyfriend, Brice. Who isn't so happy about it.
