The Chase

Samara Holland is a sweet girl that keeps to herself. She is always taking as many extra shifts as possible at the diner Jax Harding now owns. His father having passed suddenly, left with the chain of diners his pride and joy, to Jax while his brother Jason ran the big company as CEO. But oddly the simple waitress caught his eye.

Wanting to know almost everything about this girl but actually not knowing anything is killing Jax. No matter how many time he asks her out she always seems to reject him. What he doesn't know is that like most people, Samara has a past. One she doesn't ever want to forget about, and couldn't even if she tried.

Can Jax ever get through to her? And If he does what will unfold? What secrets will come to light?

"Please just one date?" I ask again for the third time this week. I know I may seem desperate but there is just something about her, I can't put my finger on it.

"I'm very flattered Mr. Harding but I must reject you like I have said the nine other times you have asked." She smiles at me and I can't believe shes keeping track of how many times I ask. She goes to leave the room.

"What If I make you manager?" I say aloud. She stops and turns to look at me.

"Really?"

"Yes." I say playing my last card.

"Fine I will go on one date with you." She doesn't know it but she just made me the happiest man alive.
