Starting immediately after it's predecessor, Daring Dixon, Floating is the continued story of Rosaline and Daryl; in a different point of view.

After taking a terrible tumble down the stairs, Rosaline is left battered and bruised, but ultimately, alive. She is rescued by a friend she thought to be dead, which leads her to meet a very powerful man whom she knows will provide her protection, food, and could also lead to her finding Daryl again.

Daryl blames himself for 'killing' Rosaline, and wants to forget everything that ever happened. But with Rick and the others to answer to, he must relive his regrets and explain just what happened. He becomes withdrawn, keeping his distance from others, even his own brother, Merle. It isn't until the unexpected happens that Daryl finally becomes himself again; even if not for long.

Angel

39 parts Complete Mature

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.
