Five years ago, a musical genius had lost his songbird. Two days after her egress, Erik had lost all hope of having a life as a normal person. But soon an unforseen turn of events crosses his path, and Erik sees a new light at the end of the tunnel.
As the years pass, Erik is once more drawn to a young woman's alluring voice; a voice that attracts Parisians to the Opera House like bees to honey. For the first time in years he is inspired to compose, sing, and possibly --- teach. But these precious times will cost him dearly, and sooner or later he will have to make his choice...
Does he steer away from this new inspiration, and the possibility of being accepted?
Or will he, once again, resume his role as the Phantom of the Opera?

For five years, Aria had lived in the world-renowned Paris Opera House as a talented chorus girl and dancer. During the allotted time, Aria has fashioned a double façade. No one, not even her dearest friends, know who she really is. Nor do they know the incident that occurred five years ago, which altered the course of Aria's life forever.
Aria has known the stories of the man who Parisians call the Phantom of the Opera. She also recalls a similar story she'd heard countless times as a child; but never had she pegged it to be true. As time runs its course, and newer information arises, Aria begins to wonder...

Ok let's see. Phantom of the Opera fan fic, ummm, what else? I don't own any of the characters except the reader and her brother, also their parents and a woman by the name of Chevrolet Boucher. All credits to the respective owners. Love the musical and original novel. Erik x reader here we go. You gotta read the story to know what happens btw. Credit to my friend Pastelgaykid for helping me with the basics of the story. Like the parents back story, ages,cause to make it more less pedoey, we changed the phantoms age. I KNOW, I know, but really, I'm not gonna write a story about a 40 year old man falling in love with 19 year old. P.S. After his many murders and accidentally burning down the Opera House, he searches for his mysterious soulmate. As he searches for a way to leave Paris, he meets a young sailor named (Y/N) (L/N). She is part of a crew of a trading ship that she escaped on when she was only ten years old. When (Y/N) lets Erik leave and work on the ship, Erik sees and learns things he never thought he'd learn. The great fire, it cost Erik everything he ever knew. His house, his only love... everything. He roamed the streets for almost four years, staying hidden in the shadows he made himself familiar with only to find his way back to the abandon and burnt opera house. He stayed there and the first few months were nothing but peace, silence and his inner demons ripping him apart. He had no power for life anymore, no muse to write songs and compose miracles. He simply spent his days looking at the cave walls, not able to think, to see, to feel. All that changed when his ear perked the sound of a child's laughter, informing him of people entering his house but he had no power to kick them out. He saw no reason too.
