Nick is a thirteen year old boy who's art is his passion. But he starts to see and hear things that aren't real, hallucinations and voices begin to occupy his mind. He is later diagnosed of having schizophrenia and put into a mental hospital. There he meets a boy named Isaac who shows him a world where they can inhabit in to escape from this cruel world we call reality.
~okay, so I wrote this for my creative writing class and altered it a little. The theme was to choose a children's story and rewrite and change it basically only change the characters, setting, genre etc but keep the plot the same. So for my story I chose Bridge to Terabithia, even though it's a lot different and darker. It's basically my own version. If you cried watching/reading bridge to Terabithia and don't want that experience again then maybe steer clear of this story.. Just forewarning. But anyway thanks for ending up here and I hope you give this story a chance, it's not the best and I'm new at this but I tried. Please enjoy~

an almost decade old story. * "one tragedy changed their lives." a story with dialogues and minimal description, in which a boy ends up in the hospital after a car accident and his friend slowly collapsing under the weight of his tortured mind. but what actually happened that one fateful night and what other secrets will be unraveled? * two main male pov's, recognizable through italics and normal text. a story written unlike any other. i hope you'll find comfort in it just as much as i have. be aware that this is a realistic story. * slow-burn start, but it picks up. don't let the number of chapters fool you; the average reading time for each is less than a minute . i came up with the story of the two friends when i was still quite young and i'm by no means a writer, so it deeply apologize if it sucks ass. feel free to vote and comment or point out any spelling mistakes or confusing paragraphs. it needs some editing and possibly some small changes or added chapters for clarity and better character development, but as for now, this first completed story will do. original story: around 2014. first upload: 2020. re-upload: 2023.Complete

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl?
