In a world overrun by the dead, Lexi never asked to be the one holding the map to survival. Hunted by horrors both living and undead, she joins a fractured group of survivors who don't trust her-some who openly hate her. Among them are Emily and Jared, a couple hardened by loss; Aiden, whose sarcasm cuts deeper than any blade; and Taylor, Jack, and Hollie-each carrying secrets of their own. When a bloodstained journal reveals the name Annabelle, Lexi is forced to confront the ghosts of her past and the terrifying truth of what's to come. Bonds are tested, betrayals strike deep, and every choice edges them closer to ruin-or redemption. Because in a world where the dead don't wait... neither can you.
