It's been 200 years since they reigned the coastal waters of Luna Bay Island; the town's people once fought off the terror in 1817.
But now it's 2017... Mermaids don't exist. It's just a legend, a myth, a made up story by some crazy person from back in the day; so the new era of people think, that is.
They weren't there. They didn't live the terror. They didn't see the bloody water washing on to the beach, staining the beautiful pearl white sand.

The water shimmered like diamonds under the little sunlight that peeked through. Laina sat on the edge of the dock dipping her toes into the water. Gazing into the sinking sunset, she noticed someone swimming. A topless woman fading into the glistening water as the sun kissed the water and disappeared.
Queen of of the evil sea, Stephina came to spy on the Island; it looked the same, but very different at the same time. She swam frighteningly fast back to her underwater kingdom. It's time to reign terror over the Island again. Though this time she plans to succeed; and take the coast back from the people. Feeding grounds for her kingdom, and the thrilling excitement of luring the innocent to their death with nothing but there own disgustingly, delicious, sex appeal. What's better than a delicious, aroused man to fulfill her appetite after 200 long years?

Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to!
