Ashlynne Graham is an honor student with two popular brothers. She is starting her junior year at Valleyridge High in Los Angeles with her best friend Katie Pierce and Katie's twin James. Just one thing: she has a deep secret that only her brother's know about.
James Pierce is the school's star quarterback. He's always been one of the most popular kids. He's going into his junior year with his twin Katie and her best friend Ashlynne at Valleyridge High, and he hopes it'll be the greatest one yet, after all his girlfriend is the head cheerleader and he's best friends with Ashlynne.
Everything is going fine between the two friends, but what happens when someone from Katie's dark past shows up out of the blue, and her dad starts leaving more and more? As Katie's anxiety attacks get worse and more often and her emotions start effecting her health, will James be her knight in shining armour or will he be the one that got away?
