"No, you can't. It's too dark, we can look for it tomorrow. It will be safer then." Before Rosemary even finished her sentence, Aqua already had her boots on and cloak buttoned, and was heading out the door. Rosemary ran after her, but she didn't get very far before she suddenly stopped. There was a shadowy figure that stood not two yards in front of them. The figure was tall; they could not see a face for the figure was in a cloak that covered his face. The boots they wore had seen better days. They took one step toward Aqua on the stone slab in front of their door.

I was walking down the sidewalk on a rainy night which was the night it all began. I was only 7, chatting with my mother and twin brother, not knowing a much about "abilities" or however they call them. It was very quiet, all that was heard were our foot steps. But I got a weird feeling that we were being followed. I began walking a bit faster, leaving my mother and brother confused, they asked "why are you walking so fast?" I didn't reply.
