Every single Thursday afternoon, during his shift at the library, Dean Winchester finds himself fascinated by the boy in the trench coat with the charcoal hair and the love of Stephen King. He imagines conversations with this boy in his head, but this time, the conversations are real. But will Castiel still be able to help the librarian when times get tough?
I haven't read this through, so it'll probably have loads of typos. I wrote the majority of this story at 4am on a variety of nights, so please excuse it, especially the last past. I will probably rewrite half of it. And I also have no idea where I am going with this story. It could be fluff, it could be hella sad. Heck, there could even be some smut. YOLO (yes, I did that ironically). I will post a warning when writing anything that could trigger something, if something includes a lot of blood or gore, or if it had mature content. During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He never eats or sleeps but he doesn't he have to, he doesn't know why he doesn't eat and it doesn't bother him much cause it would just slow him down. He remembers nothing about Sam or Dean or even himself for that matter, but something is itching at the wall in the back of his head trying to break through, it wants to get out but can't. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of. One day a pleasant memory comes through the cracks in his wall he can't place where it came from. The only thing he knows is he needs to find the man with the stunning green eyes.
