Along For the Ride

It's been nine years since they've seen each other. She was eighteen and he was twenty-nine when they met. They had one hell of a week together in New York. Partying, getting drunk, going on cute dates, having lots of sex, driving around in his car, going to countless bars, eating good food, talking, exploring, and even more sex. After seven short days, they went their separate ways, her going to college and him going back on the road with his brother. She always wondered what happened to that beautiful green eyed man who gave her some of the best memories. He hated himself for not bringing her along for the long ride that was his life. She studied psycology for four years at Dartmouth then graduated with her degree. He hunted the evil things in the dark that no one knew about. She started traveling the country and then the world. He drove old back roads with his little brother and ate shitty diner food. She came back to the states and kept drifting through town after town. He went to hell, heaven, and everything between to save his family. She's working at a diner in a run down town. He's passing through a small town and decides to stop for a burger at a diner. She's at the register and he's walking in the door. She'd know those freckles anywhere and he couldn't forget those eyes if he tried.
