Her mother died before she was 2, attacked by the leader of The Grey Hunters. Her father died 5 years ago when she was 18. Her mate died with him. They both died fighting The Grey Hunters. A group of rouges who formed their own 'pack' so to speak. Raine stepped in as the pack's Luna. When she was 18 she became the Luna of the Scarlet Moon Pack. She became the Luna, without her mate by her side.
After almost losing 30+ pack members to surprise attacks from The Grey Hunters, she finally had enough. She thought up an idea with a neighboring pack. Alpha Reid of the Blood Moon Pack, accepted her offer.
Alpha Reid had also lost his mate to The Grey Hunters. He wanted revenge, so did Raine.
Little did they both know, the Moon Goddes had two different plans for the both of them. One plan consisted of love and lust, the other plan was death.
