Let's say that Harley actually never met him and they have no relationship yet. They could actually both love each other. A pretty, but partially insane bartender in jokers club and an abusive drunk ex boy friend, leads to jealousy and bar fights. Batsy comes along and Harley helps the jealous bar owner known as the clown prince. Her ex comes after her and joker comes right up and helps.
