Cynthia Moscar is a mild-mannered 20-year-old junior detective in a rural town called Hiroppe. The area couldn't be more remote or quiet, but that doesn't mean much. Hiroppe has reached its record high in crime, the majority being unexplainable disappearances of kids ranging from a newborn to a 14-year-old being classified as kidnappings. Cynthia has had her eye on this case of disappearances for months and had even created her own at home file, against her superior's wishes. David M. Jentiel was given the case and had worked night and day since he got it. An experienced detective with quick wits and a lot of grit, he refused to let anyone else take the case. So, what do you get when a fiery girl with a lot of moxie meets an unavoidable and hot-headed obstacle in her way of this case? A whole lot of violated protocols.
